Is stand up paddling difficult?

No, you have mastered the basics in 10 minutes. We give an initiation and go only after a safe way on the water.

Is it safe?

Yes, we provide leaches so you stay close to your board. Those who can not swim will receive a life jacket.

What do I have to bring along?

Yourself, good mood, swimwear, towel and sunscreen.

What kind of sup board is it?

Fanatic Fly Air, stable type so thats everyone can participate.

Where is the meetingpoint?

On the Royal Canoe Club Ghent, yachtdreef 1


How many people can participate?

There's a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 16 people.


I'm not in shape, can I paddle the tour?

Yes, the tour is for any tourist who wants to explore Ghent on the water. We adapt the pace of the group.

Is the tour suitable for children?

Teens must be accompanied by an addult. For kids who can't sup, there's a canoe available.

Who's responsible?

You are confident, wearing a leach is mandatory. Sup Ghent is not responsible for any accident. We trust that you respect the traffic codes that we explain to you.

What happens when it starts to rain?

We provide a free poncho!

If I want to cancel my reservation, will I get a refund?

If you cancel within 48 hours, you will get a refund.

Are reservations required for the tour?

Yes, it is the best for both parties to make a reservation. This way you are certain of a place and we can provide enough sup boards.

Are custom made tours or at another time/date possible?
